Sliding Doors in Banbury

Sliding Doors in Banbury

Sliding doors from Cortizo, Schuco and Origin are an elegant option for rear extensions on Banbury’s Georgian and period properties, where the minimal-frame sightlines create a near-frameless glass wall that sits quietly behind the period front elevation. Within the Banbury Conservation Area, sliding doors on non-visible rear elevations are generally acceptable and often preferred over bifolds for their more discreet appearance. Cortizo Cor Vision Sliding (standard slider with a 20mm central junction) and Cor Vision Plus Sliding (25mm central junction) sit alongside the in-line Cortizo 4900 Sliding HI and the lift-and-slide version of the 4700 Sliding Patio, Schuco ASS 77 PD Panorama offers floor-to-ceiling lift-and-slide panels up to 3m x 3m, and the Origin Contemporary Collection (OS-29+ 29mm interlock with flush-stacking, OS-44, OS-77) is the British-made in-line patio slider range from Origin's High Wycombe factory (up-to-20-year frame guarantee, in-line operation only, not lift-and-slide) across the OX15, OX16, OX17 postcodes. The lift-and-slide variants move panels up to 500kg with fingertip ease. Our surveyors cover Banbury properties close to Banbury Cross and Banbury Museum. Properties inside the Banbury Town Centre Conservation Area need Cherwell District Council approval for replacement glazing. We handle that liaison as part of every quote.
