Bi-fold Plus Door, the slim premium bifold
Cortizo's slim premium bifold uses an 80mm profile with a 45mm polyamide thermal break and a 110mm reduced central junction. A-rated whole-door performance, comfortably exceeding the current Approved Document L 1.4 W/m²K maximum.
Cor Vision Sliding & Cor Vision Plus Sliding
Cortizo's slim-line sliding range. Cor Vision Sliding has a 20mm central junction; Cor Vision Plus Sliding has a 25mm central junction and takes sashes up to 4m × 4m at up to 400kg per panel (700kg motorised), accepting glazing to 56mm. The result: near-frameless panoramic glass walls at a fraction of structural-glass cost.
200+ RAL Colours, Dual-Colour Available
Powder-coated in any RAL Classic colour with optional structured, matt, satin or pearlescent finish. Dual-colour means a black exterior with a white or anthracite interior, a popular spec for heritage-fronted properties with contemporary interiors.
Class 4 Air Permeability, Uw from 1.0 W/m²K
Cortizo windows are tested to BS EN 12207 Class 4 (highest air-tightness rating) and Class E1500 watertightness. The Cor 70 Hidden Sash reaches Uw from 1.0 W/m²K.
PAS 24 and Secured by Design
Cortizo windows, bifolds, entrance doors, Cor Vision Sliding and the 4700 Sliding Patio can be specified to PAS 24:2022, with multi-point shootbolt locking and laminated inner glass on opening sashes. Cor Vision Plus is not PAS 24 compatible, so where PAS 24 is required on a slider we specify Cor Vision or the 4700. Secured by Design configurations available, a UK police-approved spec recognised by major insurers.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Cortizo?
Cortizo is one of Europe's leading independent aluminium systems manufacturers, headquartered in Padrón, Galicia, Spain. They produce thermally broken aluminium profiles for windows, doors, sliding doors, curtain walling and structural glazing. Cortizo systems are used in over 90 countries and specified by leading UK architects for premium residential and commercial projects.
Which Cortizo systems do you install?
We install the Cortizo aluminium range: Bi-Fold (standard bifold, max sash 1.2m × 3m), Bi-fold Plus Door (slim premium bifold with 110mm reduced central junction, max sash 1.2m × 3m), Cor Vision Sliding (20mm central junction, max sash 2.5m × 3m at 320kg per panel), Cor Vision Plus Sliding (25mm central junction, max sash 4m × 4m at up to 400kg per panel), 4900 Sliding HI (in-line sliding windows and doors), 4700 Sliding Patio (in-line or lift-and-slide versions), Cor 70 Hidden Sash (tilt-and-turn / casement, 70mm frame), and Millennium Plus 70 / 80 Door (aluminium entrance door range).
Are you a Cortizo fabricator or just an installer?
Both. Vitrum Solutions fabricates Cortizo systems in our own West London workshop — we cut, machine and assemble Cortizo profiles into finished windows and doors — then survey, deliver and fit them with our own fitters. That means one point of accountability from profile to finished installation, rather than buying made-up units from a third party. FENSA registered, with a 10-year CPA insurance-backed guarantee.
Who is a recommended Cortizo installer near Uxbridge?
Vitrum Solutions is a Cortizo aluminium specialist based in Uxbridge, serving Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Hertfordshire and West London. We fabricate Cortizo in-house and fit with our own team, FENSA registered, rated 5.0 across 21 verified Google reviews. Request a free no-obligation survey on 0800 861 1450.
How energy efficient are Cortizo windows?
Cortizo's thermally broken profiles deliver excellent whole-product U-values across the residential range. The Cor 70 Hidden Sash and standard casement systems pair Class 4 air permeability (BS EN 12207, the maximum) with thermally broken frames, and the Hidden Sash reaches Uw from 1.0 W/m²K. All comfortably exceed Approved Document L (1.4 W/m²K maximum).
How does Cortizo compare to Schuco?
Both are premium aluminium systems. Cortizo's slim premium bifold (Bi-fold Plus Door) features a 110mm reduced central junction. Cortizo Cor Vision Plus Sliding takes sashes up to 4m × 4m at up to 400kg per panel behind a 25mm central junction. Schuco's distinguishing features are their AS FD 75 / AS FD 90.HI bifold and ASS 77 PD Panorama lift-and-slide ranges. For most premium UK residential projects, both deliver excellent thermal performance. System choice is typically led by aesthetics, lead time and architect specification. Full comparison: /blog/cortizo-vs-schuco.
How much do Cortizo windows and doors cost?
Final price depends on the system (casement window vs sliding door vs bifold), opening size, panel count, glazing specification and any motorisation. Every Vitrum Solutions installation includes supply, FENSA certification, waste removal and a 10-year CPA insurance-backed guarantee. Request a free no-obligation quote on 0800 861 1450.
Are Cortizo doors PAS 24 certified?
Cortizo windows, entrance doors, bifolds, Cor Vision Sliding and the 4700 Sliding Patio can be specified to PAS 24:2022, with multi-point shootbolt locking and laminated inner glass on opening sashes. Cor Vision Plus is not PAS 24 compatible, so where PAS 24 is required on a slider we specify Cor Vision or the 4700. Secured by Design configurations are available, a UK police-approved spec recognised by major insurers including Hiscox, Chubb, AIG and standard high-net-worth underwriters.
