Slimline Aluminium Sliding Doors & Windows
Among the slimmest sightlines on the UK market: the Cortizo Cor Vision sliding door at a 20mm central junction, paired with the Cor 70 Hidden Sash window for matching minimal frames. Vitrum Solutions manufactures both in our own Uxbridge workshop from genuine Cortizo profile and installs them with our own team across the Home Counties.
The slimmest systems we make and fit
The number that matters is the sightline: the visible aluminium when the window or door is closed. On a slider it is the central junction where two panes meet. These are the genuinely slim systems we install, ranked by sightline.
Cor Vision Sliding
20mm central junction, among the slimmest aluminium sliders in mainstream UK supply. Max sash 2.5m × 3m at 320kg per panel, double glazing 26–30mm.
Cor Vision Plus Sliding
25mm central junction on sashes up to 4m × 4m (400kg manual, 700kg motorised), glazing to 56mm and up to 94% glass: the choice for the largest spans and triple glazing.
Cor 70 Hidden Sash window
Concealed sash behind the frame: 66mm visible section, with an identical look between opening and fixed lights for a calm, uniform façade.
Schuco ASS 77 PD / ASE 80
30mm central section panorama slider, plus the Passivhaus-grade ASE 80 where the strictest thermal standard is the brief.

Why a slim sightline matters
The less frame you see, the more glass and daylight you get, and the cleaner the architecture reads. A standard aluminium slider shows a 50mm to 60mm central junction; the Cor Vision brings that to 20mm, so the join between panes reads as a thin line rather than a post. Slim profiles still meet Approved Document L thermal standards, and PAS 24 is available on the systems tested to it (Cor Vision Plus is not PAS 24 compatible). We confirm the U-value and security rating for your exact configuration at the quote stage.
Manufacturing and installing in-house means one company carries the project from survey to finished fit, with every installation FENSA registered and backed by a 10-year CPA insurance-backed guarantee, rated 5.0 across 21 verified Google reviews.
