Aluminium Doors in London
Aluminium doors are one of the most popular improvements on London's properties across London, where rear extensions and side-return kitchen projects create opportunities for full-width glazed openings. Cortizo, Schuco and Origin aluminium bifold doors fold neatly to one side; sliding doors offer slimmer sightlines and do not need stacking space (Cortizo Cor Vision 20mm central junction, Origin OS-29+ 29mm interlock British-made in High Wycombe with an up-to-20-year frame guarantee). All systems use multi-point locking, with PAS 24 on the systems tested to it (Cor Vision Plus is not PAS 24 compatible). On London's terraces and semi-detached homes, a 3 or 4 panel bifold typically works best, while the larger detached properties towards Ealing and Richmond often specify wider configurations or multi-track sliding systems.
