French Doors in Banbury
French doors are often the most appropriate opening-door style for Banbury’s Georgian and period properties, where the classic double-door proportions sit naturally on period rear elevations without the contemporary look of bifolds. Within the Banbury Conservation Area, timber-look uPVC or slim aluminium French doors in heritage colours are generally the easiest door style to gain approval for. We install both Cortizo aluminium French doors (built around the Cor 70 family with slim profiles) and Rehau uPVC French doors (TOTAL70 system) across the OX15, OX16, OX17 postcodes. Both are PAS 24 security certified with multi-point locking and matching sidelight and toplight options for wider configurations. Our surveyors cover Banbury properties close to Banbury Cross and Banbury Museum. Properties inside the Banbury Town Centre Conservation Area need Cherwell District Council approval for replacement glazing. We handle that liaison as part of every quote.
